Hi and thanks for stopping by. I’m Kat, a fully qualified Canine Myofunctional Therapist through the National College of Traditional Medicine and this is my boy Jax. I grew up in the south suburbs of Sydney and made the move seven years ago to Wollongong where I love the beautiful beach life; well I think Jax loves it more. Loving the South Coast, we have now settled in the Shoalhaven area, where our pack has grown to include Meli, the Kelpie
I have grown up around dogs all my life - from Fox Terries to Great Danes. Now I have Jax, my Kelpie cross Border Collie and meli girl, Jax has played a big part in this journey of canine health. My interest in muscles began when he sprained his shoulder and was unable to do all the things he loved. Today, Jax receives a regular massage that keeps him in peak condition and prevents any further injuries. Meli, always eager for her turn, has quickly embraced the routine as well. As dog parents we want our dogs to live a long happy and healthy life. Through Rovers Remedial Massage Therapy, my aim is to educate people on the importance of the musculoskeletal system and why holistic massage therapy is so beneficial for your dog. The Missing Piece – Nutrition Early on in my massage practice, I quickly realised that muscle health isn’t just about movement—it’s also about what fuels the body. Nutrition plays a huge role in muscle recovery, joint health, and overall vitality, making it an essential part of the bigger picture. This led me to expand my knowledge into canine nutrition, ensuring that dogs receive both physical care through massage and internal support through proper diet. As dog parents, we all want our dogs to live a long, happy, and healthy life. Through Rovers Remedial Massage Therapy, my goal is to guide and inspire owners on the importance of both the musculoskeletal system and nutrition, because when these two elements work together, our dogs truly thrive.
